Directions: Just northwest of Des Moines. Take the Johnston exit, no. 131, north off I-35/80. Go north one half mile on Merle Hay Rd. to 55th, and west on 55th more than one half mile to Beaver Dr. Turn north on Beaver and look for a lane going west passing between the gravel pits. Park on the shoulder and walk the lane.
