Viewing Structures

Many parks and other wildlife watching areas have some physical structures in place to enhance your experience. Bird blinds usually have feeders in place to bring the birds in close while keeping you from sight. Boardwalks and platforms provide added elevation to better see secretive marsh and grassland birds. Some of these areas are particularly conducive to bird photography and are indicated as such. The direction the structure faces will help plan your trip to maximize the best lighting.
